The Foreign Residents Support Center（FRESC）

A new Foreign Residents Support Center was opened in Tokyo, Yotsuya.

The Foreign Residents Support Center comprises eight public organizations. Sharing knowledge and experience to assist foreign residents, they give advice efficiently on employment, visas, laws and humanitarian issues. They offer the services in 11 languages.

ORGANIZATIONS

【Immigration Bureau with Resident Support Division】

Provides information for foreign residents. Accept information disclosure.

【Tokyo Immigration Bureau】

Provides consultation for foreign residents and company hiring foreign residents.

【Tokyo Legal Affairs Bureau and Human Rights Department】

Provides consultation about discrimination or harassment.

【Japan Legal Support Centre】

Provides legal consultation.

【Tokyo Labor Bureau】

Provides consultation on working conditions for foreign residents.

【Tokyo Employment Service Centre for Foreigners】

Provides information of job opportunity.

【Ministry of Foreign Affairs Visa Information】

Provides information of VISA.

【Japan External Trade Organisation (Jetro)】

Offers support for companies that hire professional foreign residents.
